Position: Retail Floor Supervisor
Reports to: Visitor Services and Store Manager
Status: part-time, up to 29 hours weekly, non-exempt
General Description: The Floor Supervisor leads by example in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and assisting management with all areas of inventory control, social media, merchandising, providing office support, providing direction and follow-up to staff. The Floor Supervisor is responsible for visual merchandising, stocking and annual inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Meet sales objectives and promote museum memberships
- Resolves questions and concerns from visitors and customers
- Utilize CounterPoint and Altru for admissions and sales
- Reconcile end-of-day receipts and troubleshoot any outstanding issues
- Assist with onboarding new store team members
- Merchandising store space to planned sets.
- Submit purchasing recommendations and call outs to management
- Track sell thru to ensure inventory levels are sufficient
- Work with team to receive and organize inventory
- Assist with established sales goals for the floor teams
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Exceptional customer service and sales experience. Merchandising experience. Solid computer knowledge using excel, google docs, and email. Experience with POS systems, preferably Counterpoint and Altru. Flexibility with work schedule to include weekends, holidays and some evenings.

Must be motivated, organized and be able to work with diverse groups including museum members, the general public, vendors, and staff. The position involves constant moving and standing and the ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
Salary : $20 - $22
