Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Associate – Entry-Level in our Bloomington, IL office. In this role, you will work with experienced engineers on site development, storm sewer/drainage design, grading, permitting, cost estimating, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems.
Job Activities:
- Water distribution and sewer collection systems design
- Storm water management and collection system layout and design
- Collaborate with other Farnsworth Group disciplines and client consultants
- Construction observation / resident engineering
- Prepare permitting applications for various state and local agencies
Specific Requirements include:
- BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
- 0-2 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of civil engineering projects
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, required
- Stormwater Modeling experience, preferred
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam
- Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois or on track to obtain license desired

Salary Range: $66,000 - $76,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
