Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Commissioning Specialist in our Phoenix office. In this role, you will be able to share your skills, collaborate, and solve some of our clients’ toughest problems with our national commissioning team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to continue to develop their career in the field of commissioning and sustainable consulting.
Job Activities:
- Manage and/or support multiple commissioning/retro-commissioning projects
- Perform and assist with energy audits
- Perform design reviews
- Lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing and envelope systems commissioning
Minimum Qualifications include:
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering related degree
- 5-10 years facilities design or building commissioning experience
- LEED® Green Associate or Accredited Professional, preferred
- PE License, preferred
- Experience with monitoring-based commissioning software (i.e. CopperTree, SkyFoundry)
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
- Strong skill-set with Microsoft® Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to travel up to 30% annually
