We are currently looking for Part Time Mail/Warehouse/Dock workers at our location in Chicago, IL to join our FARO team.

Job Description:
A successful mail, warehouse, or dock worker will be safety-minded and thrive in a fast-paced environment. These positions will report to their assigned department Leads, Supervisors, or Managers and be given training to complete regular standard tasks each shift, working as a part of a team to do so.
Key Job Elements:
• Able to work in a warehouse environment around motorized equipment
• Comfortable working with regular deadlines
• Amenable to working in different areas as directed by leadership
• Willing to operate forklift if needed (training and certification to be provided) (Previous experience is always a plus)
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a forklift (if needed) to load/unload trucks of cargo or relocate cargo within the facility
• Count, weighing, and inspecting received cargo, as well as logging necessary cargo details
• Manually load/unload cargo from received consolidations
• Utilize scanner equipment to track to movement of cargo within the facility
• Create consolidations of received cargo to allow for more efficient movement
• Move cargo being processed through the facility, with assistance from forklifts/tugs as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly working area
• Reference documents associated with cargo to verify accuracy
Job Requirements:
• Have good attendance and be punctual
• Must be safety-minded
• Able to speak and understand English
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and varying times
• Be able to lift and handle mail and/or freight with weights up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to enforce security standards as required by the badging authorities (prohibition of access to unauthorized individuals, challenging credentials of unknown persons, communication with authorities as needed)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a 10 year background check with US Customs and Chicago Airport Authorities
• Prior warehouse/logistics experience and/or forklift experience is always a plus
