ABOUT THE POSITION

The Personal Training and Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with local businesses and the surrounding community. They will oversee all personal training and ancillary businesses, such as Massages, Physical Therapy and any other business opportunities that arise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Plan and coordinate a minimum of four events per quarter outside of normal UF classes / business hours
• Promote UF within the community and build strong connections with local businesses
• Confirm and manage schedules for trainers and trainees
• Oversee and program all powerful classes
• Train, mentor and develop UF coaches
• Track and verify sessions in Mindbody software for accuracy
• Assist in recruiting and hiring staff as needed.
• Manage personal trainers and massage therapists, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Collaborate with the Fitness Manager to compile bi-weekly payroll
• Manage ordering supplies and equipment
• Oversee the onboarding process for UF interns
• Ensure a minimum of 20 hours per week are dedicated to training and coaching clients, ensuring high-quality, personalized instruction
• Supervise Personal Trainers.
