Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting adults in foster care, ensuring their well-being. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, First Aid/CPR training and a passion for helping vulnerable populations.
Duties
- Day to day functions include administering medication, charting, light housekeeping, cooking, when needed bathing/grooming/dressing.
- Document case notes, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and timely.
- Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental disabilities is highly desirable.
- First Aid/CPR Training
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Ability to accept feedback constructively and work collaboratively within a team environment.
