What you will do here:
The general labor position is an entry-level role with the ability to progress and find a career with a well-established and growing foundry in Norwich, KS. This vital role provides labor support to other members of the Farrar foundry and is critical to the success of the foundry process. You will have the opportunity to work with talented professionals who specialize in the field of metallurgy and ironwork. Primary Responsibilities
- Lifting castings weighing 25 pounds or more
- Operate grinding equipment to complete orders to customer specifications
- Accurately complete required paperwork and quality checks
- Operate multiple machines and heavy equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing background preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and reliable
- Desire to learn and grow within the field of ironwork and metallurgy
