Pattern Shop Technician Job Description

Position Title: Pattern Shop Technician

Reports to: Pattern Shop Lead

Job Location: Norwich, KS

Employment Type: Full-time

Hours: Monday – Thursday (6:00a – 4:30P)

Job Overview:

The Pattern Shop Technician will be responsible for transporting, cleaning, and inspecting tooling equipment for daily production. They will also work to complete gating and core box repairs. They will assist in the initial production of gating for new patterns and rigging of new core boxes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Rigging and repairing patterns to specifications provided
• Rigging and repairing core boxes to specification provided
• Tooling delivery, retrieval, cleaning, and inspection for daily production
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

While prior experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with no experience who are eager to learn. We are committed to providing comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role:

• Patternmaking experience preferred but not required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Basic shop mathematic skills
• Able to complete accurate work with strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 80 lbs., as well as the ability to bend, twist, reach and walk
