Production Control is responsible for releasing job orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, parts are machined and shipped on time as well managing the facilities inventory needs with finish cast and raw material. This position is also responsible for coordinating between facilities and providing accurate dates to customer service. In addition, this position will support both the company safety and quality policies.

- Data entry for all timesheets, weigh sheets, and documentation in Norwich facilities
- Manage inventory of castings, machined parts, boxes, crates, pallets, and miscellaneous items required for final product assembly for operations
- Release jobs (new and re-runs) and print job paperwork
- Communicate directly with foundry production control on move ins/pullouts
- Communicate with customer service on open orders/move ins
- Monitor execution of customer orders and suggest adjustments to schedules for timely delivery
- Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
- Responsible for month end and year-end inventory in Norwich
- Loading/unloading transport vehicles
- Perform daily shipping operations
