Duties
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation.
- Develop and execute a menu that showcases fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
- Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain food cost control and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management on menu innovation and seasonal offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or fine dining environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience in catering and supervising kitchen staff is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food service management principles and shift management practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
