We are seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our SHOP team in Farmville, NC.
You will be required to pass a FCAW On-Site Welding Test.
In this role, you will be responsible for welding or fitting various metal pieces together to create a final product using the customer's specifications or drawings. The schedule for this position is M-F 6am-4:45pm and plus overtime as needed with occasional Saturday work.

Your responsibilities as a Welder/Fabricator:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding codes to determine project specifications.
- Operate welding equipment to cut, weld, and fabricate metal components/structures.
- Fit up miscellaneous transitions at interfaces between equipment.
- Use various tools, machinery, and equipment such as drills, grinders, saws, forklifts, boom lifts, etc.
- Complete customer's needs on the project, if it does not involve financial changes to the contract Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance.
- Align, fit, measure, layout, and inspect parts, mark cutting lines, gather materials, and operate machinery.
- Welding in all positions
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Mig Welder/Fabricator qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Welding certificate or Diploma
- 2 years of welding experience using hand and power tools to install or repair equipment.
- Fabrication and shop experience preferred.
- All candidates must have a valid driver's license, and pass a drug screen, and background checks.
- Demonstrate ability to tactfully manage difficult situations.
- Independently perform duties with minimal direction and supervision.
- Must live within commuting distance of Farmville, NC
- We do not offer sponsorship for a work Visa.
