Farrow & Ball – Showroom Manager, New York - Upper East Side
We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our showroom team in New York - Upper east Side as a Showroom Manager. This position is offered on a full time, permanent basis - some weekends and evenings will be required.
Farrow & Ball are a luxury British lifestyle brand that prides itself in creating richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using print methods dating back 300 years and the finest quality ingredients.
The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.

As the Showroom Manager, you will oversee the day to day running and operations of the Showroom. You will be the driver in increasing footfall and sales, whilst ensuring that the showroom team are fully supported and equipped to meet the high standards that are required by our brand.

What we expect from you
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving sales, brand awareness and acquiring new clients.
- Responsible for leading, training and coaching the showroom team, developing talent and ongoing mentoring/performance development.
- Providing feedback to the team as necessary to ensure all customers that are serviced in the showroom are given the full Farrow & Ball experience in line with brand strategies.
- Setting performance targets and driving Showroom productivity and profitability i.e. conversion rates, sales, UPT, ATV, customer data capture and linkage
- Be the market brand ambassador to the local design community responsible for driving networking and professional relationship building
- Process Payroll, maintaining schedules and ensuring the showroom team adheres to attendance policies and procedure
- Be fluent in current advertising and marketing campaigns and promotions to ensure this is communicated and cascaded to your showroom team.
- Be instrumental in managing, motivating and developing the showroom team to ensure that targets are exceeded and act as a role model to the showroom team by displaying professional behaviours.
- Grow our customer account base through local marketing initiatives, assisting the leadership team in creating viable partnerships, sponsorships and showroom brand exposure opportunities within the local community.
- Ensure stock is managed, that banking is correctly undertaken and that healthy and safety is maintained within the showroom.
Key Attributes:
- Exceptional commercial acumen.
- Strong communicator to external and internal clients with the ability to communicate in person and through technology cross culturally.
- You will have a creative flair with a background in design and/or luxury retail and a clear understanding of brand visual standards.
