The Role
Our Asset Management vertical (FAM) is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a dynamic Sales & Distribution Lead to drive our expansion efforts. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional with experience in sales and distribution within the asset management industry. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup or startup-like environment and is eager to take on a key role in scaling a high-growth business.
Your Impact
- Develop and execute a strategic sales and distribution plan to drive FAM’s AUM growth.
- Own the development and continuous refinement of FAM’s value proposition, ensuring it resonates with key stakeholders and differentiates FAM in the asset management space.
- Own and manage the full sales pipeline, tracking and analyzing performance metrics to provide data-driven insights that drive overall growth.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external financial advisors, RIAs, institutional investors, and other distribution partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams to build and maintain competitive investment products, develop compelling sales materials, and streamline advisor onboarding processes.
- Represent FAM at prospective advisor “Discovery Days”, industry conferences, events, and client meetings to enhance brand awareness and credibility.
- Identify and capitalize on market trends and emerging opportunities to position FAM’s investment products competitively; maintain a deep understanding of asset management landscape.
The Ideal Match
- 10 years of experience in sales and distribution within asset management.
- Series 63 licensed
- Proven track record of successfully developing relationships and driving asset growth with RIAs, financial advisors, and/or institutional investors.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and wealth management industry trends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to a rapidly growing business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience with launching new products and/or rapidly scaling sales and distribution efforts.
- Established network of contacts within the wealth management and asset management industries.
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth fintech environment.
