What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Planner position at Farwest Corrosion Control Company?
Responsibilities include:
· Creating site layouts for construction equipment
· Coordinate and communicate with power companies, city agencies and municipality offices
· Review plans and acquire appropriate permits for jobs
· Go to job sites to take field measurements and mark all utility locations
· Attend job walks and bid events as required
Skills:
· Clean driving record
· Willing to travel to job sites (local Southern California area, some overnight travel may be needed)
· Organized
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Ability to perform tasks within given schedules and deadlines
· Strong time management skills
· Civil and/or electrical construction experience preferred, but not required
· Experience reading plans required
· Multi-tasking abilities
· Semi-demanding but patient (strong willed)
· Task completion oriented
· Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Web, etc.)
· Mature personality
Final salary will be based on background and experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
