What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Fasco Employment Inc?
? Operate the system according to defined processing parameters to achieve optimum processing efficiencies and to ensure the highest quality product while minimizing downtime.
? Understand product flow from raw silo?s to packaging
? Know the type of product, the silo source, and all handling procedures involved each time operating any processing equipment
? Perform quality control checks and adjustment of equipment as defined to maintain product quality within defined specifications
? Promptly and accurately perform all necessary documentation and data entry
? Complete and maintain the following programs: Pre-Operational Checklists, Post-Operational/Cleaning Checklists, and Master Sanitation Schedules
? Perform limited maintenance as defined per the MSS or as required; including but not limited to inspection, cleaning, and creating maintenance work requests
? Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area throughout the facility and common areas
? Anticipate problems, implement solutions, and look for continuous improvement/process improvement opportunities
? Assume responsibility for the attainment of plant goals and objectives.
? Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with co-workers
? Dedication to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
? Follow all procedures and practices: Safety, Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF) and work in a manner consistent with all regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
? Attend required training
