Cleaner

We are seeking a Dry-Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for transforming a mundane piece of clothing into something to be worn with pride. Our customers depend on the thorough and knowledgeable service that our employees provide. We know that something as simple as removing a stain can be as important as having confidence during a job interview, looking amazing at a class reunion, or catching the eye of someone special from across the room. This position works M-F starting at 5am, with weekends off. Since Monday is the first production day after gathering laundry over the weekend, it tends to be longer than a typical 8-hour shift. To compensate for this, Fridays are usually shorter than a typical 8-hour shift. Work weeks average 40 hours, and some overtime may be available during busy times of the year.

Responsibilities:

• Start up the plant in the morning which includes turning on the boiler, water, and air compressors
• Sorting garments based on care instructions
• Spot and treat stains using appropriate methods
• Operate and maintain the dry cleaner, washers and dryers
• Fold and weigh clothing and household items and deposit them in the correct area
• Strive for maximum efficiency in operations
• Keep inventory of supplies and equipment
• Clean and maintain working area of the plant

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
