Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Area Professional Services Manager, you’ll be a key leader in the Nebraska / Iowa operation, providing leadership and mentoring across our organization. We'll count on you to :
- Be responsible to the Area Manager to develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of area staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers.
- Lead and monitor development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies.
- In concert with Area Business Group Managers, oversee workload balancing and coordination of worksharing, to ensure qualified staffing of project teams.
- Assist with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials, and driving profitability at the project level.
- Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA / QC Program activities striving for continuous improvement.
- Support and assist Area Business Development Leads in driving client management plans.
- Lead and monitor activities for continuous improvement including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned.
- Lead and participate in project reviews and support project teams with management of claims and losses.
- Lead the Area mentoring initiative.
- Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Work with AM to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area and corporate policies.
- Oversee and ensure implementation of quality, standards, and best practices.
- Be involved in community activities and serve as an outward facing HDR Ambassador.
- Collaborate with Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders.
- Participate in Area strategic planning and plan implementation across all business groups.
- Support area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff.
- Serve as a champion for BGX opportunities.
- Support communication and coordination within all business groups.
- Perform other duties as needed in conjunction with the Area Manager.
