HDR is seeking a Deputy Construction Department Manager to lead a major Construction Program for our client in Pompano Beach, FL.
The vision for this role is to support the client's Construction Program across all workstreams while helping guide the implementation of the recommended program enhancements.
The services provided by this leadership position will touch all workstreams, including :
Program Management
- Directly support District Construction Engineer (DCE) in administration of Construction Program’s mission and vision
- Lead special assignments or strategic tasks from DCE (process improvements, policy development, etc.)
- Support collaboration with the Materials Program
- Support the development and refinement of roles and responsibilities for positions within the Construction Program
- Work closely with the Talent Manager to develop onboarding and training materials specific to program management, project controls, etc.
- Attend recruiting events along with the talent management team
- Participate as a member of the Consultant Talent Board communicating the needs of the Construction Program
