HDR currently has an opening for a Marketing Coordinator in our Transportation Business Group with the skills and desire to help support our nationally-recognized program.

Based in one of our South Carolina offices, we’ll count on you to :

  • Manage pursuit teams in developing persuasive proposal and interview materials.
  • Work with Marketing, Project Managers, and technical staff to plan, write, design, and produce proposal and presentation materials.
  • Develop and coordinate graphics.
  • Write non-technical text; edit and proofread marketing communications.
  • Write and maintain project profiles for all current and past projects.
  • Arrange for professional photography on projects.
  • Prepare and update resumes for Transportation staff in South Carolina.
  • Track and maintain marketing information to populate company data systems : pursuit and contract information, photography, resumes, project profiles, references, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with marketing staff in other offices as well as corporate marketing.
  • Coordinate conference attendance and sponsorships with Business Development Leader, Business Group Manager, and Accounting staff.
  • Attend industry and client events, as needed.
  • Work with internal client managers and teams to develop marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture plans.
  • Adhere to company brand standards and quality control procedures.
  • Support development of annual and long-term strategic plans within established company direction and goals, including creating growth initiatives and prioritizing strategic investments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English, or Journalism preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of marketing and proposal experience, preferably in the A / E industry.
  • Strong computer skills, creative / graphic design, and layout skills and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations, and related collateral material.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Preference given to local candidates with the ability and desire to travel and engage with others in person.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign.
