We host a Streetwear Fashion Expo in Atlanta, GA. Please ONLY apply if you are familiar with urban culture, streetwear fashion and sneakers. As a member of our team, you will be working directly with young streetwear brand owners. individuals familiar with this streetwear fashion culture and group will succeed in this role.
Skilled social media manager responsible for creating custom social media content for the FashionFest network and catalog of shows. Ideal candidate will have a background in social media, streetwear and the entertainment industry. This role is embedded in the Marketing Department to ensure strategic, efficient and innovative approaches to growing the network's social media platforms and generating awareness of its shows and hosts.

Ongoing and daily duties and responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day management of social media accounts for the FashionFest network media.
- Strategize, conceptualize and execute high-impact graphic and video content for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the marketing, video and creative departments to produce engaging content. Maintain brand integrity in social media assets and captions.
- Quickly pivot content strategy as needed in an ever-changing environment.
- Research, launch and grow new social media channels and platforms.
- Consult with podcast talent for show-specific content creation.
- Identify timely social media trends and pitch ideas that drive engagement for our podcasts.
- Build relationships with our reps at Meta, TikTok, etc.
- Gather monthly data across social channels for the network, flagging any major issues that need to be addressed.
- Share evolving social media best practices in a concise manner to all podcast hosts.
- Act as a community manager, interacting with followers on FashionFest network media social platforms, maintaining voice and engagement.
- Formulate strategic plans to launch new shows on social media.
Education & Experience / Certifications:
- Background in management of high-profile social channels, preferably for entertainment properties.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in film, marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or similar fields.
- Proficiency in necessary software and technologies (Adobe Suite, Canva, in-app editing tools).
- Understanding of best practices as it pertains to publishing and managing social content to an engaged audience.
- Experience in paid social campaigns.
- Strong internal and external communication skills.
- Proven track record of managing a high volume of creative assets across multiple campaigns.
- Skilled collaborator with ability to move between broad macro goals and tactical implementation.
- Proficiency in project management tools/systems (Google Workspace, etc).
- Ability to manage relationships with podcast talent and executive-level stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio of previous work a must.
- A passion for compelling social media content.
- Experience working in a professional setting - preferably in branded content, podcasting and/or entertainment social media.
- Understanding of social media landscape, specifically Instagram and TikTok.
- Strong interest in understanding how to build and sustain community engagement.
- Experience collaborating with talent and/or influencers.
- Comfortable generating original work and collaborating with talent on the publication of other creative campaigns.
- Proactive, solutions-based thinker.
- Skills in copywriting, performance insights and presentations.
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks and assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Can work independently with minimal supervision, while able to follow direction.
- Relentless attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- Remote and On-Location with occasional office meetings required.
- Some weekend, holiday and after-hours work may be required aligned to coverage of significant occasions (e.g., live events, award shows, off-hours recordings, etc.).
- A minimum amount of travel may be required.
Note: This role has the potential to transition into a long-term position.
