About the Opportunity :
The Director, Inventory Planning & Allocation will Develop and lead a new inventory forecast, planning and analysis department helping to create data-driven, unbiased merchandising plans for our Omni-channel organization. This San Diego, CA based role will execute demand forecasts, incorporating business insights and trends, ensuring the company can maximize profitability, while minimizing stock outs, overstock and aging. Responsibilities include :
- Developing and owning the demand forecasting and planning processes and output, ensuring inventory type and levels are aligned with channel demands.
- Collaborating with data and technology teams to develop and enrich the demand planning department, including implementing and managing merchandise planning software.
- Partnering with Data Analysis, Finance, Procurement, Digital, Wholesale, and Retail leadership to inform and refine channel merchandise strategy
- Preparing and presenting business recaps and forecast accuracy to executive leaders
- Directly and indirectly leading a small team of analysts and allocation specialists, ensuring KPIs are met, and assortment meets the needs of the business.
- Supporting the business with ad-hoc projects when needed

This role offers a hybrid workshift with a requirement to be onsite in our Carlsbad, CA location 1-2 days weekly. This role may also require limited travel to some of our other locations throughout the US (1-2 times annually).
Compensation :
FASHIONPHILE reasonably expects the range to be $150,000-$180,000 for this position in our California Location and offers an Annual Bonus Opportunity aligned to our Director level. Offered compensation will vary based on (a) location; (b) individual candidate qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
