About the Opportunity
The UX Designer will play a crucial role in shaping exceptional digital experiences for FASHIONPHILE's Shopify platform. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance user needs with business objectives while creating intuitive, engaging, and conversion-focused experiences. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, this role will be instrumental in elevating our digital presence and improving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include :
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs while maintaining consistency with our brand guidelines and design system. Ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.Execute the design process from research through implementation, creating user-centered solutions that enhance our Shopify platform functionality and aesthetic appeal.Conduct user research, rely on Shopify and GA to pull data, develop personas, journey maps, and information architecture to inform design decisions and improve the overall shopping experience. Additionally, analyze user behavior data and metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and implement data-driven improvements.Champion accessibility standards and best practices throughout the design process.Stay current with e-commerce trends and Shopify platform capabilities to propose innovative solutions.What We're Looking For
2-5 years of dedicated ecommerce UX rolesAssociates or greater degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience designing for Shopify teamsStrong portfolio demonstrating successful e-commerce projects (app design is a plus)Strong understanding of HTML / CSSProficient in Shopify's platform limitations and capabilities, with previous experience designing for Shopify storesExpert in industry-standard design and prototyping toolsWell-versed in user research methodologies and able to translate insights into actionable design solutionsExperienced in A / B testing and data-driven design optimizationAn excellent communicator who can articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlinesBonus points - having a passion for fashion or interest in re-commerce and sustainable fashion.Driven by a sense of urgency with strong skills in balancing competing prioritiesWhat We Offer

Work Location : This position
requires
the UX Designer to be on-site at least one day a week, either at our Carlsbad office or our Downtown Los Angeles office.
Compensation :
FASHIONPHILE reasonably expects the range to be $103,000 - $115,000. Compensation will vary based on (a) location, (b) individual candidate qualifications, and (c) individual candidate experience.
