What are the responsibilities and job description for the BIM Technician position at Fast + Epp?
We are currently hiring a Civil Engineering Technology Graduate for our BIM Technician role. The BIM Technician is responsible for contributing to structural BIM models and drawing production. This role reports directly to the BIM Manager and will work closely within their colleagues in the BIM team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Utilize Autodesk Revit Structure to complete project drafting and detailing from mark-ups at the direction of the project BIM Lead.
- Review your work and project drawings for conformance to Fast Epp standards and best practices.
- Communicate regularly with Project Engineers and Project BIM team for deliverables, expectations, and coordination of design and drafting.
- Assist in construction administration and site reviews as required.
How you fit into the team:
- You report directly to the BIM Manager.
- You work closely with one or more Studio Teams.
What you bring to the table:
- Certificate or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology program.
- Registration as CTech Trainee or AScT Trainee with ASTTBC or equivalent in specific region.
- Familiarity with Revit.
