Job Overview:
The Account Manager who will play a key part in building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, managing accounts, and addressing customer needs.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Adhere to CRM workflows.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Regularly check in with clients to ensure satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly.
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and escalations.
3. Sales Strategy:
- Implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, including competitive analysis and pricing strategies.
4. Product Knowledge:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the company's product offerings to effectively present them to clients.
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, manufacturing, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery of conveyor systems.
6. Market Intelligence:
- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
7. Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
8. Travel:
- Travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Experience in account management and sales, ideally in a technical or industrial field.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to understand and meet client needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills for addressing client needs and managing sales.

Preferred Experience & Education:
- Sales Management Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role, preferably in business to business sales
- Negotiation & Networking Skills: Expertise in negotiating deals and building lasting business relationships.
- Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills: Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Educational Background: A degree in business, sales, marketing, or finance is preferred.
