FAST Global Solutions is seeking a Assembler I on Day Shift for our Falls City, NE location.

Job summary:
Assembles machines and equipment including their electrical and hydraulic components and subassemblies following blueprints along with other written and verbal specifications. Familiar with and capable of using various types of hand and power tools. Required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Reads and interprets blueprints and assembly drawings to determine specific assembly requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for various product lines.
- Removes small quantities of metal to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts.
- Drills, taps, or reams holes. • Aligns components and bolts, screws, or rivets them together.
- Installs moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings and tests for free movement.
- Bends and installs pipe for hydraulic systems and/or bends and installs conduit for electrical systems.
- Aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears.
- Tests or assists in testing operation of completed product.
- Trains and instructs fellow Assemblers on assembly procedures.
- Completes all weekly, daily and monthly 5S tasks.
Job Requirements:
- A qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or at least 1-3 months related experience.
- Must have basic language and math skills and reasoning ability.
- Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously and reach/bend frequently over the course of a 10 hour shift.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must have manual dexterity and be able to maintain a frequent firm grasp.
- Must be able to operate a foot pedal for machine operation.
- Must be able to pass a physical strength test to perform the job.
- Vision with depth perception is required.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and levels of humidity.
- Personal protective equipment will be provided by FAST and must be worn in the required areas.
