Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to contribute to the strategic direction of our product lines. This role requires a blend of market analysis, customer insights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and execution. You’ll be responsible for managing the product roadmap, defining requirements, and ensuring our products meet customer and market needs. You’ll also lead marketing initiatives and act as a key liaison between Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Analysis: Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities aligned with business goals.
- Customer Insights: Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) research to inform product strategy.
- Roadmap Management: Develop and manage the product roadmap to align with market needs and business objectives.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the Stage Gate process, including business case development and product planning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including Engineering and Sales, to define product requirements, specifications, and opportunities.
- Market Expansion: Identify and explore opportunities for product portfolio growth, both within existing markets and beyond.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events and promote thought leadership through webinars, speaking engagements, and more.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful adoption and market penetration.
- Branding & Marketing: Shape the product’s feature/benefit story into a competitive advantage and collaborate with the Sales team on integrated marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field (MBA preferred), with 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or sales. Technical aptitude is essential.
- Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends, interpret data, and communicate insights effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and knowledge of tools like Smartsheet and Canva is preferred.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills for presenting to diverse stakeholders.
- Reasoning & Problem-Solving: Ability to solve complex, variable-driven problems and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid role with expected travel up to 10%.
- Quiet office environment with occasional physical activity.
