Job Description:
The X-Ray Technologist at Fast Pace Health plays a vital role in providing diagnostic imaging services that support clinical procedures. This position emphasizes the importance of maintaining Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
This role involves preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, performing nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess relevant licenses and a commitment to continuous professional development in a supportive workplace culture.
This team member will also observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary action. They will operate or oversee operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes, explain procedures, and ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
