Medical Imaging Professional Job Summary
Fast Pace Health is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for operating X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will also explain procedures to patients, ensure their safety and comfort during X-Ray scans, and prepare and maintain equipment for treatment.
This role requires strong nursing skills, including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks. You will also need to maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
- Nursing duties, including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks.
- Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary action.
- Operate or oversee operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
- Indiana Residents Only: In Indiana, Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
