Orthopedic Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services within our scope of services, while achieving optimum patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies.
- Administer non-surgical fracture reductions.
- Monitor and manage the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections.
- Administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound.
- Apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions.
- Ensure proper alignment and immobilization of injured body parts.
- Educate patients on cast care and potential complications.
- Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment.
- Determine whether surgical or non-operative approaches are most appropriate.
- Provide patients with detailed information about their orthopedic conditions.
- Offer guidance on home exercises, physical therapy, and activity modifications.
- Address patient questions and concerns, ensuring they understand their treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and rehabilitation.

Compensation:
