Key Responsibilities
Lead and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to healthcare professionals to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.
Chart Management: Accurately complete patient charts in a timely manner and forward them as necessary on a daily basis.
Clinical Protocols: Implement clinical protocols as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer and Supervising Physicians.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
Diagnostic Testing: Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, and responsibly prescribe medications while educating patients on continued treatment and care for acute and chronic conditions.
Therapeutic Procedures: Perform procedures such as incision and drainage, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care.
Patient Analysis: Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
