Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including a working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Perform nursing duties, including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and carrying out clinical tasks.
- Observe patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking necessary action.
- Operate or oversee the operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure their safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
- Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition, maintaining high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment, guaranteeing seamless workflows.
- Assist patients utilizing Virtual Medicine Providers, enhancing access to comprehensive care.
- Accurately complete patient charts in a timely manner and forward them as necessary on a daily basis.
- Promote a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a way that fosters excellent relationships with customers, co-workers, and managers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting, especially in Urgent Care.
- In Indiana, Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
