Responsibilities of the Position
Key responsibilities include preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, conducting nursing duties such as vital sign measurements and injections, observing patients and reporting changes in their conditions, operating X-ray equipment, explaining procedures to patients, and ensuring equipment is properly maintained. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for assisting patients with virtual medicine providers, completing patient charts accurately, and adhering to company core values.
Requirements for Success
To excel in this position, candidates should possess at least one year of experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in a clinical setting such as urgent care. Also, they must have a valid state license and proof of ARRT registration if applicable. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a full scope X-ray technologist state license is mandatory. Candidates must also be able to maintain friendly relations with clients and employees, promote a positive work atmosphere, and act in accordance with company values and policies.
