About the Job
This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Radiologic Technologist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering clinical and administrative support to ensure the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical imaging principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and track x-ray orders so they can be completed and submitted in a timely manner
* Assist patients with proper positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality
* Ensure all activities are conducted in a manner consistent with overall department expectations and comply with federal and state regulations
* Review exam images for initial read by providers
* Send final images to Radiology group for over-reads
* Correctly label laterality of all images using initialed lead markers
* Confirm no removable artifacts are present in the anatomy requested and use proper technique for exams
* Address minor maintenance issues with machines and follow up with nurse coordinators for consultation prior to outsourcing calls
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Current CPR license
* ARRT license (Registered Technologist) or State License (Registered Technologists' and Limited Scope)
