Job Description
X-Ray Techs at Fast Pace Urgent Care provide clinical and administrative support essential for effective patient care under the direct supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. We help you grow your clinical competencies and offer a rewarding career path.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and monitor x-ray orders.
- Assist with imaging procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in community outreach programs and support new employee training.
- Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assist patients with proper positioning during exams to ensure diagnostic quality.
- Address minor maintenance issues with machines and follow up with nurse coordinators or Clinic Directors as needed.
Requirements:
- Active and verifiable license must be in good standing.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with current CPR license and/or at least 1 year of experience as a certified RT(R) or limited scope x-ray tech preferred in clinic setting, preferably urgent care.
- Ancillary RTR positions will be evaluated for level 3 after 6 months of Full-Time employment.
- Establish a full grasp of ortho-glass techniques for splinting or casting and ensure all patients with fractures are stabilized prior to leaving the clinic if applicable in your state.
- Additional training in bracing and specific fitting may be required.
