Job Responsibilities:
The X-Ray Technologist at Fast Pace Health is responsible for providing high-quality imaging services in a patient-friendly environment. This role involves operating X-Ray equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Skills:
- Maintaining behavior that adheres to Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
- Nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, draw blood, give injections, and perform clinical tasks.
- Observing patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
- Operating or overseeing operation of X-Ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Explaining procedures and observing patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-Ray Scans.
- Ensuring imaging equipment is in proper operating condition.
- Preparing and maintaining supplies and equipment for treatment.
- Assisting patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
- Ensuring accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forwarding charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
- Indiana Residents Only: In Indiana, Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
