Position Overview: This position will provide day-to-day support and administration of risk management, insurance, and safety compliance initiatives for all Fast Retailing, USA Inc. brands while applying professional concepts to collect, analyze, and maintain data relating to the Company’s property and casualty insurance programs.
Location: Hybrid with about three days a week in New Jersey or New York City office
Key Responsibilities:
- The role would report to the Senior Risk Manager and support job duties and tasks that cover risk management, insurance, safety and compliance
- Assists Risk Management lead with insurance renewals by gathering and organizing underwriting data, reviewing final issued policy documentation, schedules of insurance, and premium installment schedules, and distributing post-renewal documentation to internal and external stakeholders
- Property, casualty and workers compensation claim management and analysis, including communication with business operations, brokers, insurance adjusters, ongoing monitoring and coordination of claim investigations, and supporting return to work program.
- Collaborate with internal partners on the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and training programs designed to minimize risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates risk control visits and claims reviews and ensures follow-up actions and/or loss control recommendations are completed
- Maintains risk management and safety database and portals
- Ongoing collection and maintenance of accurate location, inventory, and asset data from internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize various programs available to run specialized reports to view, analyze, and evaluate safety and loss data.
- Supports the coordination of safety and compliance training and maintains training records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supports company’s risk transfer program, including certificate of insurance management and reviews of third-party certificates of insurance to validate coverage as compared to contractual requirements
- Review premium invoicing, confirming accuracy and timely submission
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or related area required with a minimum 2 years of experience in the administration of a risk management program and/or in the field of insurance
- The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to collaborate with colleagues, and the drive to exceed expectations
- Strong analytical abilities and a deep commitment to accuracy
- Ability to organize data meaningfully using detailed summary or graphical formats.
- Strong Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills required. The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including skills in formula functions and a demonstrated ability to learn new software applications
- Property and casualty insurance-specific knowledge plus a demonstrated knowledge or ability to learn, interpret, and apply the following: technical understanding of insurance principles; ability to read, interpret and analyze insurance policies; and knowledge and ability to apply industry-standard best practices for claim administration are all essential
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information according to the organization’s policies
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000*
