Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. Duties
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
- Engage in product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies.
- Utilize basic math skills to manage sales transactions and provide change as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring that merchandise displays are well-stocked and appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers effectively.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling procedures is advantageous.
