Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced quick-service fast food restaurant. This is a multi-faceted role that will require you to perform a variety of tasks. Your main priorities will be greeting our valued customers, taking orders, and preparing their sandwiches. To be successful, you will need to be capable of maintaining a high level of attention to detail with knowledge of our policies, meals, and ingredients. Duties
· Prepare sandwiches according to customers’ exact specifications and company recipes
· Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas
· Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
· Utilize retail math skills for cash handling and transactions
· Uphold food safety standards throughout the food preparation process
· Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales
· Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience
Qualifications
· Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating orders
· Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably in a grocery store or quick-service restaurant
· Familiarity with culinary techniques and food preparation methods
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
· Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers
· Food handler’s license
· Physical ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
· Adaptability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
