Daycare Attendants report to: Daycare Manager, Kennel Manager, General Manager, Owner
Evening shifts from 1 pm to 8 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm will be offered depending on preferences. Weekends and some holidays may be required. Overtime will be applied after 40hrs worked. Any time off must be scheduled and approved.
Employees should be reliable, hardworking, motivated, and have a positive attitude. Dog handling experience is HIGHLY preferred.
Ensure your daycare group runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Work closely with co-workers and Daycare Lead to provide a safe and fun play environment for all dogs by:
- Understanding basic dog body language
- Keeping all play areas sanitized and help maintain a clean facility
- Maintaining a calm yet assertive attitude when problems occur
- Positive and friendly attitude to both co-workers and clients
- Ensure a positive and harassment free workplace
We provide thorough training through PackPro, a series of videos to give you tools and confidence to manage large play groups, recognize signs of aggression or nervousness before it escalate, and monitor any health issues in our play yards. In addition to PackPro, there is individual training to set you up for success.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Verbal communication skills

- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Working Knowledge of dog behavior
- Ability to run/move/react quickly
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good decision maker
- Love of dogs and people
- Ability to work well within a team or alone
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
