If candidate has worked as a perm employee at any of the below facilities within the last 12 months they can't be submitted for consideration: Albany, Glen Falls, Saratoga Hospital and Columbia Memorial
As of 6/23/23 Albany Medical Center encourages the COVID Vaccine Card although no longer requires it.
Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they're fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.
Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops.
HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.
A competency test will be sent directly to the candidate from HealthTrust via a new platform called HSH (Healthcare Staffing Hire) after submission before deciding on an offer. Candidate needs to complete this exam the day it is issued.

Nearly 80,000 visits to Albany Med’s Emergency Department annually.
American College of Surgeons verified Level One Trauma Center (Adult ED) and Level Two Trauma Center (Peds ED).
Only Level One Trauma Center within a 130-mile radius.
766-bed Albany Medical Center Hospital
No specific scrub color policy is in place
Patient Population: all injuries and illness ranging from minor care to life threatening conditions. Stroke, STEMI, trauma, mental and behavioral health related, etc
Able to accept Med/Surg Nurses who will work with our adult observation patients and admissions in ED
