Executive Director / Non-Profit

Fastbreak Impact is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering young athletes from underprivileged backgrounds. Through collaboration, financial support, and partnerships with top-tier brands, we provide access to the resources athletes need to play, compete, and thrive. Our mission is rooted in the belief that participation in sports builds essential life skills, builds self-confidence, improves academic performance, and creates lifelong opportunities.

The Executive Director will serve as both the strategic and operational leader of Fastbreak Impact, ensuring the organization's mission is fulfilled through program development, strategic partnerships, financial management, and community engagement. The Executive Director will be the face of the organization, driving efforts to create unmatched opportunities for young athletes, leagues, teams, and clubs, while driving the growth and sustainability of youth sports.

Leadership & Strategy

• Provide visionary leadership to drive the mission and strategic goals of Fastbreak Impact. 
• Develop and execute a long-term strategy to expand Fastbreak Impact’s reach and impact in the youth sports community. 
• Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment and progress toward organizational goals. 

Program Development & Partnerships

• Oversee the creation and implementation of programs that provide financial support, equipment, coaching, educational content, and tournament registration for young athletes. 
• Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with top-tier brands to secure resources and opportunities for teams, leagues, and clubs. 
• Promote the unique 501(c)(3) fundraising platform to empower sports organizations in achieving long-term success. 

Fundraising & Financial Management 

•  Lead fundraising initiatives, including grant applications, corporate sponsorships, donor relations, and events. 
•  Ensure the organization’s financial sustainability through effective budget management and oversight of financial performance. 
•  Collaborate with teams and leagues to utilize dedicated wallets and fundraising tools for impactful growth. 

Advocacy & Community Engagement 

• Serve as the spokesperson for Fastbreak Impact, building visibility and recognition in local, regional, and national communities. 
• Engage stakeholders to promote the positive impact of youth sports, including improved life skills, academic success, and personal growth. 
•  Strengthen relationships with underprivileged communities to understand their unique needs and foster inclusion. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in nonprofit leadership, preferably within sports or youth development. 
• Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and leading fundraising initiatives. 
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation. 
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 
• Passion for youth sports and understanding of its profound impact on personal and community development. 
• Proven experience in non-profit fundraising.
• Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams, boards, and stakeholders. 
• Hands-on experience with youth sports as a parent, coach or participant preferred.
