Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm
MON TUE WED THU FRI 2:30pm - 11:00pm
OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Lead Machinist, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the shop floor including to support the continued growth of the Manufacturing division. This position will work with the operations manager, inside sales team and other lead machinists to schedule machine workloads.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to
oProviding support to the shop
o Ensuring quality and on-time delivery of our product
oMaintaining accuracy while performing multiple tasks
oProviding leadership and guidance for machine operators
oMaintaining timecards within our Kronos system
oMaintaining a safe working environment
oCommunicating effectively from shift to shift
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
oPossess at least 2 years of Manufacturing work experience
oExcellent written and oral communication skills
oProficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
oExcellent safety and attendance records
oDemonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
oExhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
oWork independently as well as in a team environment
oLearn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
oPass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
oPossess an education related to tool and die or machining
