Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various warehouse equipment. This role involves the efficient handling of materials, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers, cranes, and reach trucks to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
• Utilize AS400 systems for tracking inventory and managing warehouse operations.
• Fabricate and assemble products as needed while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
• Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as cranes, cherry pickers, and reach trucks is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic maintenance.
• Experience using AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
