The Business Development Representative position is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone starting or pivoting in their career to contribute to the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will work within the business development team on essential tasks such as data entry, proposal tracking, proposal writing support, and oversight of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, specifically within Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities :
Data Entry and Management
Input and maintain accurate data in internal systems, including project tracking, client information, and market research data.
Ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
Proposal Tracking and Coordination
Support the business development team with tracking proposals and bids, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.
Assist in maintaining a comprehensive proposal pipeline and follow-up processes.
Proposal Writing Support
Assist with the drafting, editing, and formatting of proposals and presentations for potential clients / customers.
Help gather information and coordinate input from technical teams to enhance proposal content.
Salesforce and CRM Management
Manage and update the Salesforce CRM system to track client communications, project progress, and sales activities.
Generate reports and assist in the analysis of CRM data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Market Research and Reporting
Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and client / customer needs to support the development of business strategies.
Assist in the preparation of marketing reports, presentations, and client-facing materials.
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative support to the business development.
Organize meetings, track deadlines, and coordinate internal and external communications as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
Will consider a combination of education and relevant professional experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms (preferred but not required).
Basic knowledge of renewable energy, battery storage solutions, or the engineering sector is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
