Territory Manager (Auction Sales)
Fastline Marketing Group is seeking a Territory Manager to join the Fastline Auctions team. The Territory Sales Manager plays a key role in business development and the tactical deployment of auction services within the assigned sales territory. This position is responsible for driving consignment sales growth and customer expansion through strong relationships with clients in industries such as agriculture, construction, government, fleet, and lending.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, potential customers, buyers, and sellers to increase visibility, brand recognition, and customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.
- Create and execute a sales plan to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, driving consignment sales growth and expanding the customer base.
- Educate clients on the company’s auction services, ensuring they understand how to effectively use these services for buying and selling equipment.
- Manage the entire auction process, from initial consultation to post-auction follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties involved.
- Promote upcoming auctions, including inventory packages, and raise awareness to drive participation and sales.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events, actively promoting services and expanding the company’s network.
- Participate in departmental and company-wide meetings, aligning strategies with organizational goals.
- Ensure timely reporting of expenses and financial data in compliance with company policies.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Apply good judgment, discretion, and integrity in resolving issues, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Take on additional duties or special projects as assigned, supporting team goals and contributing to business growth.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Maintaining a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and other applications used by the company.
- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience in agriculture, construction, or transportation.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory (up to 75% of the time)
- Strong customer service skills, both internally and externally.
