What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Advanced Practice Provider Recruiter position at FastMed?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary responsibility will be to source, interview, refer and hire high quality Advanced Practice Providers. However, this position may also be responsible for interviewing, referring and hiring other positions throughout the Company. Position will also be responsible for clerical and specialized recruitment functions in the Company, including but not limited to recruitment metrics, attendance at career fairs, and creating appropriate recruitment networks with local schools and agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates the development of strategic and comprehensive recruitment plans in accordance with the needs and goals of the company.
- Recruits qualified candidates based on the needs of the department and/or center and location.
- Manages all aspects of the recruiting systems, such as the ATS
- Manages relationships with external vendor partners (recruiting vendors, locum vendors, etc.).
- Identify and contact potential candidates through various sourcing venues such as job boards, social media and professional networks, etc.
- Attend job/career fairs and events as needed to recruit
- Determines marketing & recruiting approaches through recruitment planning; provide counsel and direction to hiring leaders.
- Screens and analyzes the information provided on a prospective employee's application form
- Conducts personal interviews.
- Organizes and coordinates any follow-up interview with hiring managers and/or leadership
- Provides detailed information to candidates regarding the company compensation and bonus plan(s).
- Creates and sends offer letters to selected candidates that may include a verbal follow up until offer is signed.
- Manages, answers questions and coordinates the signature of all required employment agreements.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with the candidate throughout the recruitment process.
- Assists with recruitment metrics and maintain accurate and detailed records
- Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified Advanced Practice Providers.
- May assist with screening and placing Advanced Practice Provider locums.
- May assist with the coordination of a candidate’s background check and drug testing process.
- May assist with coordination with credentialing to confirm candidate’s license and certifications
- Manages the recruitment process to ensure compliance with all federal and state laws.
- Stay up to date on all market changes and updates to the healthcare industry especially in urgent and primary care
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum (5) years of recruitment experience, preferably of physician assistant, nurse practitioner and/or medical doctors from search to direct hire
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry especially urgent and primary care
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Professional demeanor and business acumen
This position may be primarily remote within the state of North Carolina; however this person may be asked to attend meetings & training at the corporate office as well as attend career fairs throughout the state.
