Job Overview
Fastpitch TV Network is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Livestream Producer / Technician to oversee the daily livestream operations for The Spring Games, the largest collegiate softball tournament in the world. This is a remote position requiring long hours (8 AM – 6 PM) and the ability to manage livestreams for 10-12 fields and 20-30 games per day.
Responsibilities:
- Stream Management: Start and stop livestreams daily using OBS and Chrome Remote Desktop.
- Graphics Integration: Insert website scorecard graphics over live streams at the start of each game and remove at the conclusion of the game.
- Game Logging: Maintain an organized VOD system by properly logging games for on-demand access.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor streams for quality and quickly resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Multi-Stream Oversight: Effectively manage multiple concurrent livestreams across various fields.
Requirements:
- Experience with OBS Studio and livestreaming workflows.
- Familiarity with Chrome Remote Desktop and remote access software.
- Strong internet connection and ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with problem-solving skills to troubleshoot streaming issues.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple game streams efficiently.
- Previous experience in live sports streaming is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
- $10 per game, with an opportunity to manage up to 30 games per day.
- Candidates can earn up to $300 per day, depending on the number of games.
- Opportunity to work with an up and coming softball media network and gain hands-on experience in sports broadcasting.
