Duties include:
- Reading digital work orders submitted by the Sales team and creating designs based on the notes and files provided.
- Creating signs and graphics from scratch with anything from limited creative direction to very detailed customer-provided notes.
- Working with customer-provided files to prepare them for output.
- Creating output files to use with the printers, plotters, and/or router.
- Running the plotters and printers.
- Alerting the Manager to future material needs by recording materials on a digital materials order sheet.
- Sending proofs to clients for review.
- Moving jobs through a digital workflow at the appropriate times to make sure projects progress in a timely manner.
- Meeting with the Sales Team to discuss questions regarding design work.
- Setting up production files for sub-contract vendors.
- Preparation, production, and assembly of signs.
- Some installations.
- Maintaining and organizing the Design and Production area.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of sign and graphics design experience preferred.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator.
- Prior sign fabrication experience is a bonus!
- Experience with designing for digital signage is a bonus!

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
