About the Role:
The Production Lead/Supervisor is a fast paced, hands-on leadership role that requires high attention to accuracy and details. The position oversees a production team of 2-3 sign makers, installers, and printer operators. The Production Lead/Supervisor organizes the creation and assembly of sign and graphic products for many different business and personal applications. The Lead/Supervisor will oversee the production of signs while working closely with the Sales and Graphics teams.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate “on-time” production of signs
- Cut printed graphics using a variety of tools
- Print on multiple substrates
- Perform and/or schedule maintenance on printers
- Maintain Inventory
- Supervisor and direct the production employees
- Assist with installations
- Use ladders or mechanical lift systems
- Attend management meetings
- Subject matter expert on each printer in the shop
- Workflow management
- Clean production facility
- Schedule maintenance on company vehicles
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Walk/stand for 6 to 8 hours
- Ability to lift 25lbs regularly
- Basic design experience (preferred)
- Production or manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Experience in Wide Format Digital Print Production (preferred)
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
