Experience in the sign industry is not needed, but great customer service and the ability to perform a variety of tasks throughout the day with high proficiency is a must. All training will be provided by the owner and current employees. Although graphics design ability is not necessary, having a creative mind, listening to your customer's needs and attention to detail definitely is. First pay increase is at 60 days with additional pay increases based on the performance of the individual. Basic computer knowledge and ability is required to operate our POS system for basic pricing, open and send files, as well as close out the day and the month with various printed reports. Additionally you will do basic social media updates, and handle digital files with customer logos, and prepare bank deposits. An excellent driving record is mandatory with no dui's as you will need to drive the company vehicle to perform on-site surveys of customer buildings exteriors, interiors, and vehicles so that the graphics dept can do precise renderings of the signs we will produce. This means you will be working daily with various measurements that need to be accurate down to a sixteenth of an inch and up to dozens of feet outdoors. Training on measurements is also provided, but basics of working with tape measures and rulers is very helpful. Punctuality is also of the utmost importance, both for opening the store on time each day and also meeting customers for appointments. Casual dress daily, appropriate for customers ranging from farmers to executives.
